Our Throw us a Bone campaign for the Sydney Dogs and Cats Home was awarded a Yellow Pencil at D & AD.

In 2008, we were invited by the guys at Mark Digital to be part of this award winning interactive mobile campaign to raise funds and awareness for the Sydney Dogs and Cats Home. Naturally, we jumped at the chance and created the lovable character, Frankie the Wonder Dog, to entice people to donate to the cause through his range of antics from air guitar to juggling chainsaws.

The Throw us a Bone campaign created a new, innovative and fun way for the public to have a real-time interaction with a live outdoor advertisement. Installed at Sydney’s Custom’s House, the interactive animation stopped passers-by in their tracks, successfully raising funds and awareness for the Dogs and Cats Home, as well as an increase in adoptions.

Congratulations to Genevieve Hoey and Hannes Ciatti, Mark Digital, Tigerspike and Moxi Sound who all made this great pro bono project happen.
