Macca’s Winning World

For this year’s Monopoly campaign, VML Australia created the World of Win: a magical place you are instantly transported to when you win a Macca’s Monopoly prize. The brief was to construct whimsical worlds that are playful and quirky while also communicating the message about the fabulous prizes one can win with a Monopoly App!

Optical illusion inspired sets

“Drawing inspiration from pop art, minimalism and optical illusions, we created a series of highly stylised sets that intrigued and grabbed attention, inviting us to embrace the fantastical, surreal and explore the imaginary World of Win. Says director Boca Ceravolo.

“Elements such as the forest road and the gigantic Big Mac / McChicken sets was our tribute to the traditional ‘Ames room’. Our forest road became a miniature like world: at first it looks realistic but at second glance we notice subtle nuances; slight distortions, odd proportions, shallow depth of field.”
